Kit contains one hollow-cast replacement tail section with separate rudder
and tail wheel doors. This kit enables the modeller to back-date Tamiya's P-51D (#61040)
to the early version P-51D which lacked a fillet. Decals are provided in the Tamiya kit to
build T. J. Chistian's LOU IV of the 375th Fighter Squadron which was a filletless
version, as displayed on the side of the kit box.
